Digital Transformation โ Global Financial Services Client
Our client is a global financial services business, with offices in the USA, UK and Asia. The client was undertaking a digital transformation project to harmonise their ways of working, and roll-out new software across the whole estate. The new system integrated with external data from source systems such as ERP platforms, and included a UI for internal users to perform tasks including data analysis, reporting, raise invoices and reconciling receipts.
Pyramid CC were appointed to lead the UK roll-out of the digital transformation as part of the wider programme, and manage the end-to-end project from initial planning and analysis, through to deployment and handover to BAU. Pyramid CC were chosen for this task as the UK business was operated exclusively using excel, therefore there was an immediately known issue of historical data integrity to resolve before the data migration could be completed and the software could go live.
Our team was involved in every aspect of the end-to-end transformation project, following a traditional waterfall methodology working towards the UK go-live date as part of the wider programme. The Pyramid CC team also supported the creation of a PMO and implementing robust project governance. As we were aware from the outset of the challenges in migrating data based on Excel, part of the project plan included using specialist data analysts to support data cleansing and validation, to ensure the data could be mapped and ingested into the end systems without issue. Our team were also responsible for engaging stakeholders, including leading on writing the communications framework for the whole programme, creating digital assets such as on demand trainings, hosting live webinars, and providing change management support during the hyper care period immediately after go-live.
The go-live date was achieved successfully, with all historical data cleansed, validated and migrated, and all planned features for the new software in use on the target date. A key measure of the project’s success was the CSAT (customer satisfaction) score from the business, which measured at “Great” overall.
